You said in your journal that something looked off, and you're right, something is off. I only just noticed it after taking a closer look to find things to critique on. When you walk or run, your arms and legs move opposite to each other. Meaning: when your right arm is in front of you your right leg will be behind you, and vice versa for the left side. However, in this picture you have it so that his arms and legs match each other in their movement. Both the right arm and right leg are behind him, when one should be in front of him. The same thing would go for the left side, only opposite.
The socks don't look weird to me, but there's something about the feet that are bugging me... I'm not sure what it is. Maybe they look a little turned inward? I'm not too sure.
The fingers on his right hand are a bit awkward. Where his knuckle is (Where the fingers begin), and where the first bend in the fingers are don't match up correctly I think. If you drew a line across his knuckles and a line across where the first finger-bend is, and if you continued those lines, they would eventually cross each other. But, I think the knuckles and finger-bend are supposed to be a bit more parallel. (Sorry if that made no sense, it's hard to explain LOL)
That's about it aside from anatomy disproportions. But you already had an idea of that in your comments. The main thing is the arms and legs matching each other. I think that was the thing that looked the most off. Either way, it's looking good so far, and I hope this critique helped a little
